Cancer care is chronically underfunded, more than ever now in the wake of the pandemic.

My head shave is a personal way to acknowledge a distressing part of the experience of this disease suffered by friends and family, while celebrating the successful recovery of many, and remembering others who are no longer with us.

I hope that by presenting it in a slightly light-hearted way, it can be seen as a message of hope and thanks to those who work tirelessly to do something about it, by providing treatment and care to make people feel better.
