Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organisation that strives for a world free from poverty, fear and oppression. We deliver life-saving and life-changing interventions to some of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people to make sure that no-one is left behind.

Story

Hi there!

Homer’s 'The Odyssey' chronicles the heroic quest of Odysseus -  journeying back to Greece to be reunited with his wife. This page, our ‘Greek Odyssey’, chronicles three mates with no experience cycling from Brussels to Athens – to be reunited with their likes on Instagram. This Epic takes place across 7-8 weeks and stars Matthew Coyle, Jack Kennedy, John Huston and Sun Stroke.

Details of the trip are below, but we thought it would be a great opportunity to instil a bit of philanthropy in you all! So, although we were going on this trip anyway, if it inspires you to throw a few quid to Concern Worldwide, that would be brilliant.

Concern are an organisation that have been fighting to eradicate
world hunger for the last 40 years. Today, more people still die of hunger than of AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. It forces families to make unthinkable decisions: to take their children out of school to work or whether to eat seeds that should be preserved for the next harvest. We believe no one should be forced to make those decisions. Details of how Concern are tackling this injustice can be found in the links below, but we sincerely hope you will support the great work these guys do and give them some money!
