When I announced that I was considering shaving my head to raise money for Mid and North East Essex Mind, my colleague, Mitch, told me that he would wax his legs if I did. Done! We will be sharing the hairy ordeal on Friday 18 May at Greenfields House, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, and would love your support. We both feel that this is an important organisation as everybody knows somebody who is dealing with a mental health problem, be it a family member, a friend or a colleague.

We both work for Greenfields Community Housing, which is supporting Mid and North East Essex Mind as our Charity of the Year. Mid and North East Essex Mind is here to support and empower people experiencing an emotional or mental health condition by building on their personal hopes and aspirations. We work with children, young people and adults across the area. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone.
