Andy, Alex, John and Glyn's LEJOG 2018 · 6 May 2018

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end-of-life care. Its ‘Outstanding’ services are provided free of charge to patients and their families to help make every moment count.

Story

The LEJOG team, known as the Flatlands Four: from L>R Glyn Jones, John Jackson, Alex Brown and Andy Carlyle,

Andy, Alex, John and Glyn will be cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats (LEJOG) starting on May 6th 2018 and completing the ride on May 19th.   The route they have planned, which is slightly more than 1000 miles with over 54,000 feet of climbing, can be found  hereAs you will see, it includes a few variances from the most frequently ridden routes!

The sprightly four, with a combined age of 240, are all members of the Cambridge branch of CTC (part of Cycling UK), and, whilst they have many years of cycling experience behind them, are looking forward to this challenge with some trepidation. They are offering friends, family and anyone who is interested, the opportunity to closely follow their adventure via an online daily blog and a live tracker at CTC Cambridge Hopefully, this will be reciprocated by a substantial (!) donation to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity .

Please note at all funds donated will go to the charity.
