My best friend has terminal cancer. She is undergoing her second bout of chemo and has just shaved her head. I have decided to stand in solidarity with her and scalp my own goldie locks.

My dad died from lung cancer. My friend's husband died from cancer. I don't know anybody who has not been effected in some way by this horrific disease.
