This will reach the people there in a matter of days. I will be personally travelling to Jordan in the last 10 days of ramadhan to deliver the aid you donate. You will see this implemented yourself!
This will be the fourth time that I visit Jordan with Human Relief Foundation. The work they are doing there is remarkable and the help they are offering the refugees is life changing and is down to donors like you that make it possible.
5 years on and the situation in Syria is getting worse. More people are fleeing for safety because they are frightened for their lives and many people are ending up in Jordan. Although Jordan is doing a lot for the refugees, they are still living in dire situations. Refugees are not allowed to work and if they are caught working they risk being deported back to Syria which is not an option especially for those with children. This means that they are fully reliant on people like you donating to them to help them survive.
I would like you to imagine this was you. Imagine you went from your very normal lifestyle, doing normal every-day things, going to work etc. and all of a sudden your home is attacked. You lose everything, all your belongings, your home, your whole life, even some of your family members/loved ones.
Imagine losing all of that and having nothing left, you look around you and find destruction in every direction. You have no option but to gather anything you have left and leave.
You leave in search of a safe place, anywhere you can go, ending up with no option but to travel to another country where you have to live as a refugee. You are all alone, you have no money, no hope and you're traumatised by what you have left behind.
Now imagine the feeling when someone comes along and reaches out a hand, they tell you that they are going to help you get your life back together. Imagine how you would feel when this person helps you, gives you hope and provides you with everything you need to start again.
YOU can be the hope these people desperately need. They will be forever grateful to you.
Your donations will go towards a variety of things which will be implemented when I travel to Jordan. This includes food packs for family's which we actually help to pack when we are in Jordan. Blankets during the winter. Money for rent, general medicine and also for families with children that are disabled who are unable to pay for treatment. Stationary and presents for orphans and school children and we also carry out a fun day for children in a few different camps where we bring entertainment and presents for them. The smiles on their faces are priceless.
Even the smallest donation which you may feel will be pointless will contribute to changing someone's life who is in desperate need of YOUR help. So please donate what you can and share my page.
If you are interested in seeing any photos or videos from my previous deployments and hearing a bit more about them then please don't hesitate to ask. There is also a BBC inside out documentary of one of the deployments I went on.
Thank you for reading!
