Story

As many of you will know, I smashed my Femur at the beginning of March.  However, I had already signed up to do the Ring of Steale to raise money for Eikon and do not like to duck a challenge, however hard.  I am therefore going to try to make the distance, which will be a massive achievement, to raise money for this amazing charity.

Eikon is an award-winning Surrey based charity that has been working in the local communities for over two decades. Eikon provides long-term support to some of the countys most vulnerable young people. Its vision is to develop happy, thriving and resilient young adults who make a positive contribution to society. "[Eikon's support]...was valuable and a very much needed service for me at the time, I felt that without that support I may have ended up going down paths that could have affected me long-term, or for life.''
