Cerebral Palsy United is a football club and charity based in the North West UK, providing an inclusive football environment for anyone with CP or ABI. We complement our football with holistic support and self-development programmes, helping players and their families to "Be The Best You Can Be!"

Story

My name is Aidan Worth, I’m a 16 year old and have cerebral palsy. I have always loved playing football so when I was given the opportunity to play for CP United FC, it was an absolute dream come true. Since joining, I've loved every minute, whether training or playing matches against other CP teams. It is a fantastic feeling to be able to join in and play the sport I love. Unfortunately, the club are struggling to raise the money needed to pay for training pitches due to price increases, so we are having to limit the training sessions. I am determined to allow me and my team mates to carry on playing and this is why I have decided to run a half marathon. My twin brother and my mum are running it with me at Heaton Park in Manchester and we all hope to raise money for a club that has given so much to me.

Cerebral Palsy United FC is an inclusive and family friendly football club for people living with Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Brain Injury, delivering social interaction and participation in team sport for all ages and abilities.Alongside the football, CP United delivers needs-based support programmes and activities which positively impact the lives of the players and their families. CPUFC is a community which promotes friendship and togetherness, living by their values of kindness, respect, and looking out for one another.
