Last year my friend Paula went to the doctors with a sore throat and ended up in hospital with stage 5 renal failure. She now has to dialyse at home 4 times a day. When I saw her at Christmas I was amazed at how brave she was dealing with all this. So now I am cycling from London to Paris with her husband Mark to raise money for this very important charity which does so much to help people like Paula.
