The Kipungani Schools Trust is a charitable organization that rebuilds primary schools along the coast of Kenya, funds related community projects and sponsors scholarship students to move onto secondary education. Every pound that is donated to the KSTrust arrives in Kenya without deduction and is spent ethically and wisely, demonstrating that small sums of money can - and will - change Africa.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! In loving memory of Tamara Cardi, (1967-1997), we took part in the Luc Alphand on Sunday 1st July, which was 174km in distance, climbing 3500m. The race was extremely hard and parts of it were like going to hell and back! Climbing up 3500 metres, there was still snow from the winter! The last mountain was very difficult as we were climbing for 2.5 to 3 hours but coming down was a dream - we reached almost 51 mph...Lewis Hamilton eat your heart out! Although we did have to be careful of the hair pin bends as these were sheer drops the whole way down!!! This is a truly amazing charity. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us. The Kipungani Schools Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now! If you would prefer to send a cheque, please send it to Lucy Beaumont, Tom Aikens, 43 Elystan Street, London, SW3 3NT made out to the Kipungani Schools Trust, registered charity number 1080588. Many, many thanks for all your support. Amber and Tom
