Story
This September, I’m taking on the challenge '100 Miles in September' in support of the Scottish SPCA. I will walk or cycle, every mile I complete and every pound I raise will help rescue, protect and care for animals across Scotland.
We lost two of our beautiful dogs last year, Spike and Tuesday and I will be thinking of both of them during this challenge. I will also be remembering my mum Betty who loved animals particularly dogs.

In 2024, the Scottish SPCA answered over 269,000 calls, helping thousands of animals in distress - from injured wildlife to abandoned pets. Their work doesn’t stop, and they rely entirely on public support to keep going.By backing my challenge, you’re helping animals get the second chance they deserve. Thank you for being part of it. 🐾

Thanks to all supporters and sponsors for raising funds for the SSPCA. Completed the 100 mile challenge yesterday with a walk of 4.71 miles followed by a bike ride of 6.08 miles. Total miles 101.8. I was challenged to do a 'novelty lap'. And here I am finishing the Novelty bike ride during which I raised £30 from neighbours and friends.
