Jonathan and I are running the London Landmarks half marathon on Sunday 2nd of April 2023 with our close friends Ross and Sarah. We are raising money for a small charity called William’s gift. William’s Gift supports children and families in hospital by providing care packages, particularly, but not limited to bowel and TPN patients. The charity was set up in memory of William who had a very rare condition, Total Intestinal Aganglionosis. In order to survive William was ‘fed’ intravenously with total parental nutrition (TPN). William sadly passed away aged 6 after developing complications.

We have chosen this charity because of another very special 6 year old, Ruby McDonald. She is Ross and Sarah’s daughter and is like family to us. Ruby also has Total Intestinal Aganglionosis and requires TPN to survive. Ruby is one in a million! She is crazy and full of character and is the bravest child we have ever met. We love her with all of our hearts.

If you can spare even a small amount it would really help us to get round the 13.1 miles. But the real inspiration for us is Ruby!
