Hi!

My name is Ailsa. Unfortunately, this time last year I lost my Godmother Lisa to suicide. She was a shining light in everyone’s lives. Her kindness and love was something so unique. She taught me how it was to be loved wholly and unconditionally - something I am eternally grateful for. My only wish is to replicate this same compassion in my own life. I want to walk through life with the same glowing, colourful light that she always radiated. In honour of her life, I wanted to challenge myself to climb Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK, as a way to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind. Mind is a charity that provides support to those struggling with their mental health. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental illnesses and mental health issues.

So, this summer, me and some of Lisa’s family and friends will be climbing to the top of Ben Nevis! Any donations are hugely appreciated :)
