Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have never done any sporting event before, and feel a little out of my depth, but I'm determined to do my best and excited about it too!

Girlguiding Kidlington (where I am a Brownie leader - call me Sooty owl!) is in need of a new building to have their meetings in. It is used regularly throughout the week for about 200 girls of all ages. Since it was built in the 70s, the building has become expensive to run and maintain, it's structure is degrading and needs extensive work to extend it's life and improve accessibility. The girls absolutely love coming to Rainbows/Brownies/Guides and get so much out of it, it is a shame that they have to put up with a building that's falling apart! So please pledge whatever you can afford to help us refurbish it! (And to encourage me to finish the triathlon!)

The Sprint triathlon is a 750m swim (in a lake), a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run, all set in the beautiful grounds of Blenheim palace. If you would like to come and support me on the 14th June please do!
