You never think something like will happen to you or to a member of your family. It will be a tough year ahead but one that we will get through together. Dad will not be able to sit still when in hospital as he is always on the go, making wonderful food, sorting out my car or making the garden look stunning! Its important to stay strong and be there for one another. This is my first time raising money for a charity as I always wanted to do it for something close to my heart and even though its not under the best circumstances, I feel I will be doing something to help in some way or another!
