Aimee's London Marathon Challenge 2023

London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·
October 2022 saw me run the London Marathon for the first time on behalf of the NSPCC in memory of my gorgeous brother Scott, who sadly passed away as a result of child abuse trauma.
On Sunday 23rd April, I will once again take on the challenge of running the London Marathon 2023, this time round with a GFA place, but still whilst raising awareness for The NSPCC and the fantastic work they do.
The generosity last year was overwhelming and together we raised a good chunk of cash, however we can do better...! I am hoping we can raise £10,000 for this incredible charity who have been fighting to stop child abuse for over 100 years.
Every single penny of my fundraising is being committed to the 'Speak out. Stay safe.' programme, which educates children on abuse and what to do if they need help, specifically in the East Midlands where I grew up. You can find out more about this programme here:

I know from personal experience just how vital educational tools like these are when you are a child, they can save lives and help bring an end to child abuse; we all have a part to play in keeping children safe.
Crabby is insisting on being my mascot again, I guess it's only fair...
Thank you for reading my story, any donation you can give is greatly appreciated.
