Story
In 2008 I gave birth to my first child, my beautiful Molly. My pregnancy was totally normal and I managed eighteen hours of labour before things took a turn for the worst. Molly was getting into distress and I required an emergency c-section.
Molly was delivered and post delivery she didn't breathe for seven minutes and suffered uncontrollable fitting. She was immediately put into a state of cooling treatment, to try to save what organs were working. At the time that treatment was unlicensed.
That trial and the care Molly received in the special care neonatal unit, at the Liverpool Women's hospital saved Molly's life. I will forever be in their debt.
For this reason I am having my hair cut, approximately 20cm; and donating it to the Princess Trust. This charity will use my hair and create wigs for children with cancer. Another incredibly worthy cause.
Please sponsor me, every penny will go towards helping the incredible work done by the national neonatal charity; to save our children's lives.
