.In February 2015 I will be travelling to India with Raleigh international. I will be staying in the rural villages for ten weeks, during my ten week stay we will be focusing on water sanitation, the building of better toilets and tippy taps and delivering awareness sessions to the community.

It is a great cause, having access to clean safe drinking water is a basic human right and one we all take for granted. Take a minute to think how different your life would be if you had to walk 5 miles every day to gather water that still might kill you, or having open sewage running past your house. The money I will raise will go directly to Raleigh international and the work I will do during my time in India will go some way to improving the situation for the people in these rural villages. My deadline for raising the funds is the 19th Jan 2015. I appreciate this is an expensive time of year but anything you can give will go a long way to helping people who are much less fortunate.
