I am going to run 68 miles in March to honour my dad, who we lost on Xmas Day and who would have been 68 this month.

It was because of the amazing team at Oakhaven Hospice that we were able to spend our final weeks and days with him, holding his hand and telling him how much we loved him when we didn’t know if it was going to be possible. They cared for him with such grace and compassion and supported us as a family through some of our darkest days. We will never forget the kindness they showed us and we will always be grateful for those last few days together as a family.
