Story
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in support of Diabetes UK.
My boyfriend, Alex, lives with Type 1 diabetes, and as an athlete, I see every day the dedication it takes to manage his condition while performing at such a high level. Other members of my family are also affected by diabetes, so this challenge means a lot to me personally.
Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with diabetes. More than 5 million people are living with the condition right now. Diabetes UK funds vital research, provides support, and campaigns for better care — your donations will help fund life-changing research, education, and support for those affected.
Running 26.2 miles will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to what people living with diabetes face daily. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
