Al-Ayn is on the ground in Iraq, Afghanistan and Ghana. Providing orphaned children with the dignified support they need to help them achieve their potential, despite their loss and poverty. Help us empower more orphaned children in need today.

Story

The AhlulBayt Islamic Mission (AIM) is launching this emergency charity appeal for brothers and sisters to do their utmost to support the orphans of Iraq in their time of need.

The Holy Quran says:
“Those who spend (in the cause of Allah) privately or publicly, by night and day, have their reward with their Lord. And (on the Day of Resurrection) they shall neither fear nor grieve” 2:274

All proceeds in this campaign will go to Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation, who sponsor and care for more than 26,000 orphans all over Iraq. Al-Ayn provides the orphans with monthly financial allowances, in addition to medical care, educational support, psychological rehabilitation and recreational activities.

In light of the ongoing situation in Iraq, this campaign is in particular aimed at supporting the rising number of orphans of the victims of recent terrorism.

During these holy nights of Ramadan, we ask that you please remember those less fortunate and struggling in Iraq.

We have set a target of £14,000 and are confident that we can reach it with your generous support for Iraqi orphans and their families.
