The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

On Sunday 26th April, local air ambulance Doctor Stuart was due to run the London marathon. He now intends to honour the distance, at a new location, and will be joined by critical care paramedics Sophie and Gavin! All three will be running 26.2 miles up and down the runway at Baginton airport, where your local air ambulance is based.

In addition to this, critical care paramedic Adam will be taking on the challenge of cycling 260km on his turbo trainer!

They would like to raise as much money as possible for our service, whilst also encouraging other people in the local community to join us by doing their own 2.6 challenge. We are continuing operating our life saving, frontline service throughout this pandemic and we continue to support the NHS and, as a healthcare charity, we are solely reliant on donations from the public. We need these now more than ever.

If you wish to support the critical care crew in their 2.6 challenge, please donate using the link. Thank you.
