My sister and I are fundraising to support Leicester Hospitals Charity in their quest to raise £2 million towards a multi faith Spiritual Care Centre at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

We believe that patients and staff deserve spaces where faith, hope and compassion can come to the fore in the healing process. This center will be an important addition to the hospital, providing a space for patients and their families to find comfort and support during a difficult time.

As a patient who has spent most of my life at the Leicester Royal Infirmary's Hospital, I know firsthand how important it is to have a space where patients and their families can find comfort and support during a difficult time. 

We are fundraising in support of this to help build an oasis of calm in and amongst the busy hospital environment. The center will be a welcoming and peaceful space that accommodates the diverse spiritual and religious needs of patients and their families. It will offer a range of services, including chaplaincy, prayer, meditation, and counseling.
