Thank you for visiting my page.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects the nervous system, causing problems throughout the whole body. A condition that my amazing Mum has battled with for many, many years.
It causes problems with mobility, muscle weakness, balance issues and numbness in the limbs. As well as various other symptoms which widely differ from person to person. Around 100,000 people are diagnosed with MS in the UK.
The MS Society conducts vital research, provides support and ultimately fights for people affected by MS.
Those close to me will know that I am setting myself a huge personal challenge through signing up for this half-marathon. As somebody who ‘doesn’t run’, having never even done a 5 or 10k, it’ll be tough going to say the least! But I’ve never been one to do things by halves...
Anything you can donate, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and also really encourage me in my training.
Thank you so much,
Aisling x
