My name is Aiyana and I am seven years old and I love having long hair! But in April 2023 I'll be cutting off at least 30cm /12 inches because I want to help children with cancer or other illnesses, who may feel sad about not having their hair anymore, due to their treatment.

With a wig made from hair and money donations, they can hopefully feel a bit happier. I will always be able to grow my hair back, so doing this is something I feel happy about.

It costs on average £550 to make a single real hair wig, including the cost of fitting and tailoring to the child, so I would like to raise at least that amount if I can.
