Story
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children's lives through medical research. For 65 years, they have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. With your support, they will be able to fund research to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children.
To support my fundraising goal, I've set myself an ambitious goal of cycling over 10,000 KMs this year, so to achieve that, I will cycle many events, including the hardest one, the Black and White Tour. Some of the other events include:
- 200km / 125miles Audax - (Two events in Berkshire & Norfolk)
- Ride London - 163km / 102 miles around Essex (now completed)
- 200 miles / 320km Audax (Around Essex & Suffolk in one day)
- Black and White tour (Over 480km / 300miles and 6000m of climbing in 3.5 days)
- Chilterns & Surrey hills (2000m of climbing on both events)
- London to Cambridge and back! (118miles / 189km)
- Outside of these events, I will need to maintain at least 192km (120 miles per week) on average!
So please support me in hitting my goal and raising money for a great charity. No matter how much you can spare, every little will help.
Thank you
