Hi all,

We are trying to raise as much money as we can for Claire House Childrens Hospice by torturing ourselves/completing the 2008 Crumball Rally. Now for those of you who haven’t heard of this before the rally is a 3000 mile trip and must be completed in a vehicle that costs less than £200!!! We’ve got the minibus, (which we’ve dubbed Bertha!), now we just need the sponsorships!

Bertha is a very uncomfortable beast and maxes out at 50mph!! Its staggering, so we're gonna take everything out we dont need leave 3 seats in and go for it!

Day 1 - The rally starts near Boulogne and follows the route taken on the film “The Italian Job" down toLyon (450 miles!)

Day 2 - We pass through Torino, via the St Bernard Pass into , around Lake Geneva and finally toTorino.

Day 3 – If we and Bertha are all in one piece we head to Monte Carlo and the finish line!

By this point we will be slightly tired from pushing Bertha up the St Bernard Pass so will be taking our time getting back. We will be taking cameras and possibly internet to keep everyone up to date with our progress – (or to contact the European Breakdown Services!)

Please give generously, and rest assured all the money donated is going to Claires Hospice! (All wine consumed on the trip from French vineyards will be purchased ourselves!)
