Mount Kilimanjaro in 1day (non acclimated) · 26 March 2021

Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Hi Everyone,

I’ll be working with Epilepsy Action for my next climb. Many of you may have seen the article about my daughter. We have struggled with her epilepsy especially this year.

I’ve decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro again to raise awareness for epilepsy. The plan is to go there and climb it in 1 DAY and set another speed ascent record. This will be a challenge because I plan to do this without acclimatisation (as I did with Mount Elbrus).

The money will fund nurses in the community and research to help improves lives of those with Eplilepsy.

Despite the situation and everything that’s gone on this year we have to say be grateful we’re here and pray/remember those who aren’t.

Climbing year has been mega for me all praise to god. I’ve climbed 2 mountains in 2 continents summiting 7days apart, then the more recent one was the record on Elbrus. Hopefully we we can have another.
