RAFA Virtual 50 - Loaded March - 50 miles

RAFA 50 mile Accumulative Loaded March · 25 July 2022
This year I am taking part in the RAFA Virtual 50 2022.
After the huge success of RAFA Virtual 50: 2021, organised by personnel from RAF stations in the UK and overseas, the challenge is on again. RAFA Virtual 50 challenges people to complete 50 miles in just one week!
The challenge is on from 25 - 31 July 22, and I will be covering this whilst deployed in Cyprus!
With high temperatures of 35/36c (not quite the UK!), I will be conducting this as a loaded march, carrying a weighted rucksack for the duration. This event will see me cover roughly 8 miles per day for the entire week! This will be recorded with Strava, so feel free to follow my progress.
RAFA is a key charity that supports our Aviators and their families during the darkest hours!
For over 90 years, the RAF Association have championed a simple belief – that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need. Not since WWII has the RAF been so constantly deployed on global operations – and across the generations, the need for support is becoming ever more complex. Demand for services is therefore increasing significantly and I wish to contribute towards this!
My partner Lacey will also be running 50 miles back in the UK (first major event) and shares this fundraising page.
A worthy event, we would love your support for this great charity - thank you very much.
