Story

Assalamu Alaikum,

I pray you are all well.

Our beloved father Haji Gulam Ibrahim Jogee passed away on 15/06/2021. May Allah s.w.t forgive him, and all the marhoomeen, and grant them Jannatul Firdous.

We as a family have decided to build a Masjid in Malawi as a Sadaqah Jariyya project. The masjid will be named, Masjid e Gulam ibn Ibrahim, as a tribute to him, but we will be building the masjid with the intention of isaale thawaab for all the marhoomeen from Hazarat Adam AS til the day of Qiyaamah, inshaAllah.

This means the whole Muslim Ummah will benefit from the rewards gained from this Masjid, inshaAllah. The Masjid will consist of 150 worshippers, which includes a madrassah and the Imam's house. We have chosen Malawi as this was the birthplace of my father.

Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ PBUH stated, “Whoever constructs a Masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise.” May Allah accept our efforts and reward us and the marhoomeen abundantly. Ameen. JazakAllah.

This is a Lillah and Nafl project only.  https://uwt.org/projects/masjid-construction/   JazakAllah Khair, Ummah Welfare Trust, www.uwt.org
