Pakistan Emergency Flood Appeal By Al Zahra Foundation - Nottingham
Dear readers, you will have heard of the growing humanitarian disaster all over Pakistan. Over 30 million people have been affected with recent ongoing floods. According to sources it’s the worst disaster of recent times, probably worse than 2005’s deadly earthquake and 2010’s floods in Pakistan.
More than 1000 people have lost their lives, hundreds of thousands of cattle are lost and houses destroyed. Unfortunately, damage isn’t over yet and there is an ongoing situation of emergency and disaster in many areas.
Heavy torrential rains are causing the country to see heavy floods leading to damage to infrastructure and more importantly, restricting the access of basic human needs.
Al-Zahra Foundation Nottingham, announces an emergency relief fund in response to this disaster.
We urge the entire community to participate so we can help those suffering communities
Our appeal is one of many currently, we commend all who are trying to fulfil their humanitarian duty.
We will endeavour to work with trusted partners in Pakistan on the ground to deliver funds and serving the ones most in need.
Every little helps and we sincerely thank you all for your kind donations.
