I've had the pleasure of working at Home-Start Oxford for almost a year now.  It's an amazing charity that provides free, confidential support for families with at least one child under the age of 5 through individual one-to-one support and through it's parent and toddler groups. 

As a parent myself I know first hand that parenting is not easy at the best of times.  Home-Start helps families through challenges that include mental health issues, disability, domestic abuse, debt, trauma and poverty. 

With Covid and now the cost of living crisis Home-Start Oxford's services have never been more in demand and that means more fundraising is needed. This is why I'm running the Oxford Half!

Anyone who knows me, knows I am NOT a runner.  In fact my family laughed when they first heard I was going to do it, because they thought I was joking!  I have NEVER entered a half marathon before. It's a little nerve-wracking but I'm going to give it my best shot!
