Hadrian's Wall Run 2012 · 23 June 2012

Tiny Lives is a charitable trust that helps to care for 800+ premature and sick newborn babies and their families each year. It supports the Newcastle Neonatal Service at Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary that cares for babies from across the North East and Cumbria.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am running Hadrian's Wall on 23rd June - 69 miles in just 1 day to raise money for the Tiny Lives charity at the RVI.

On 31st December 2011 Cherri gave birth to our second beautiful daughter Robyn.  Robyn got a really bad case of jaundice and within a couple of days needed to go into special care.  Although she was fine and not in a lot of danger there were loads of other less fortunate babies in the Special Care Ward at the RVI.

The RVI provides the very best hospital care for babies in the special care unit and rely heavily on the Tiny Lives charity that is linked to the hospital.  Tiny Lives provides a lot of equipment that the NHS can't afford that helps premature babies survive.  With the support of Tiny Lives the RVI are able to save children who are born at only 23 weeks.

Please help save more children and give them and their parents an amazing life together.  Thank you.
