Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured & disabled personnel of both HM Armed Forces & Emergency Services. Our aims are to provide help & practical support leading to an enhanced quality of life for our beneficiaries.

Story

Hounds for Heroes (https://houndsforheroes.com/) provide specially trained assistance dogs to help injured, disabled and traumatised veterans of the UK Armed and Blue Light Emergency Services. Each Hound is partnered with an individual veteran. They live together forming a close friendship and these amazing dogs add huge benefits to their partners life's - practical, physical and emotional.
Over 7 days in April 4 legends of Chichester Rugby Club (Aaron, Nick, Ben, and Tommy) will row an incredible 1,150 km (7 marathons in 7 days each!) to raise funds to support Hounds for Heroes to recruit a new Puppy. A puppy costs £3000 to buy and HfH pay all costs including food, Insurance and Vet bills over the dogs working life to support the Veteran.
No other charity does this.
