Every year 150,000 people in the UK have stroke, that's one every five minutes.

As you'll know, in 1997 my Dad was one of those statistics. The impact on him was to end his career and to severley impair his ability to read and write but especially to speak. With the help of the Stroke Association he was able to regain at least some of those skills.
