Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Natalia was an extremely premature baby.....she has cerebral palsy. Natalia has an inspirational story, a story shaped by many special people who have given in many incredibly special ways. Sport and sailing in particular has been a big part of Natalia's life and this is a way to give something back....
As part of the Cerebral Palsy sport challenge the family team are going to do their respective 20k challenges: http://www.cpsport.org/support-us/at-home-superheroes-2020/
Natalia is going to sail 20km singlehanded in the Solent from Hurst Point to Calshot Spit. Natalia is sailing "Take that!" a Hansa 303 dinghy which is an adapted class suitable for all types of sailors and can be modified to accommodate the respective strengths and weaknesses of the crews. To sail 20km by herself will be a big challenge for Natalia...(she normally sails with her Dad sitting beside her). To keep her safe and to film her progress we will follow her in a safety boat every step of the way.
Many thanks to everyone who is helping to support her...Universal Marina for launching and finishing, Gul watersports clothing and Sailmon Max for the navigation electronics.
The rest of the family will also be playing their parts... mum Paloma and sister Naomi are static biking, Grandad David and Ellen (both octagenerians) will be walking 20km,
