My wife Carol passed away on the 13th November 2014. She fought cancer for nearly two years with great courage and bravery. The dignified way in which she was cared for in her final weeks by the staff at St Andrew's helped her see out her final days with as much comfort and peace of mind as is possible. While it was truly humbling watching her fight it was also amazing watching how the staff dealt with all the patients, not just Carol. It's a charity that provides a fantastic and much needed service and it was Carol's wish that I set up a charity donations page for the many people who have expressed an interest in donating to this very worthwhile cause.
