Our friend Jon Gill was a keen amateur astronomer and took the picture of the Pleiades star cluster at the head of this page. He suffered with Schizophrenia which he struggled to deal with for much of his life.

Sadly, he passed away last week, aged 54, of unknown causes.

I am organising a virtual relay  marathon to raise a small amount of money in his honour. The event is for ten people and each person will run 2.62 miles sometime during the week commencing Saturday 2nd May. In order to enter, please donate £5 to Mind on this page.

Once you have completed your run please enter the details and time on the Les Croupiers Running Club Forum page. The event is just for fun, but once it is completed I will compile the stats and circulate them to all entrants.
