1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, yet only 36% are diagnosed. Coeliac UK empowers everyone affected, breaking down barriers, improving everyday life, offering trusted support and advancing research towards a cure. And we do it all so that one day, no one’s life will be limited by gluten.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2006, after a long period of illness, Linda was finally diagnosed with Coeliac disease, which if left undiagnosed can lead to bowel cancer. Linda has learnt to deal with her condition through the careful management of her diet and by avoiding foods containing gluten, wheat, barley and rye. Easier said than done!  She couldn't have done this without the invaluable help, advice and support of Coeliac UK.

It is estimated that at least one in a hundred people suffer from the condition which is difficult to diagnose.  Coeliac UK does not receive any Government support and relies on donations to fund its work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
