I would guess that very few people in their lives have not been affected, at least to some degree, by cancer - whether it be themselves, family or friends.

For this reason, and partly from a personal perspective, I have teamed up with three others (my son's partner, her daughter and a friend - who incidentally are all serious runners) to run in the Edinburgh Marathon Team Relay on the 23 May 2010. Collectively we call ourselves "Fiona's Flyers"

Doing this, and asking for your support, is all about cancer and about helping Macmillan Cancer Support in turn, to continue their invaluable work in improving the lives of people affected by cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care.

So any contribution you feel able to make, however small, would be very much appreciated
