Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In March 1994, my baby sister Jade Louise Trueman died after suffering a Brain Tumour, aged just 23 months. Jade would have been celebrating her 21st birthday in April, so as a family we have decided to honour her memory by carrying out various fundraising events.
To this end, I have decided to test myself by completing at least 20 rock climbing routes graded Severe or harder over a two day period at Easter. Stephen Perkins, Daniel Dickens and Neil Tatham will be carrying out the climbs with me and in order to beat the weather and the crowds we will be spending (no doubt a very cold and wet) night in Robin Hoods Cave on the crag.
Every single penny generated will be donated to the QMC Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (who cared for Jade) and the Brain Tumour Research Charity who help develop life saving treatments for young people suffering illness related to this charity.
I understand times are hard so would massively appreciate any donation, no matter how small, which you could make towards this cause which is so close to my heart. If you are conflicted as to whether to donate to my page or another for the same cause- please bear in mind that the company I work for will kindly match whatever I raise :)
