Story
A big thank you to everyone who have donated over the last 2 years to PSPA Due to your incredible support so far we have raised £2,893.02 which is an amazing amount.
This year I am taking on the Brighton to London Challenge which is an 100km (62.2mile) Ultra Marathon taking me from Richmond Park London, through the South Downs to finish at Brighton Race Course.
By far this is going to be the toughest event I have ever done and proberly the maddest, going past the 26.2 mile is a hard challenge. It is going take around 10-12 hours to complete the run and I will have to get more run time on my feet and learn to eat while on the go. It is a different kind of running style. I'm really looking forward to the challenge for this cause and of course it is worth it doing something for this amazing charity.
Helping me on this journey is Toby, Edie and Emma who are going to run 5km with me in March all for PSPA.
Hopefully with your support I know we can raise another fantastic amount to help PSPA raise funds for research and to care to those people affected by this disease.
My Dad has now lived with this disease for over 6 years and now he just sleeps all day in his care home, with my Mum at his side for comfort. It is a sad situation for all those involved and it breaks my heart seeing my Dad like this. So I believe this race is the minimum that I can do.
