Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm riding in the 2013 annual Spinners Arms Sponsored Cycle Ride for Cancer Research UK on July 13. This will be my third time participating in this brilliant event that takes in 25 miles of roads around Carlisle, it's a fantastic day out that does the job of bringing in a huge stack of cash to help fight one of the most terrible diseases that affects us today.

Every year each rider has the name (or names) of someone close to them written on the number we wear as we ride. It's a sobering thing to see these names on a group of over sixty riders, everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer, you will too I'm sure.

I'm riding again for my Mum and Dad and my sister in law, Frank, Dorathy and Margaret Whittaker who lost the fight with Cancer and for my mother in law Anne Bailey who is still fighting.
