Story

**THIS PAGE REPLACES MY GO FUND ME PAGE WHICH HAS NOW CLOSED.  ALL DONATIONS MADE TO THAT PAGE WILL BE PAID TO THIS PAGE AS AN ONLINE DONATION SHORTLY**

I have recently been diagnosed with a condition known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) for which there is no known cure and has a life expectancy of approximately 2 to 5 years. To support the excellent work and research carried out at Wythenshawe Hospital Interstitial lung department I am doing a 100-mile charity cycle ride. The ride will take place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd October 2021. I have no specific time target in mind in which to complete the 100 miles but will be doing 50 miles on each of the 2 days.

All money donated will be greatly appreciated and will support the medical research to hopefully find the holy grail in the treatment and cures for these life limiting conditions.

Just to confirm I will not be using an E bike. LOL as the Army Physical Training Corp (APTC) badge would never be able to forgive me if I did.

Raised £345 so far via gofundme
