Help us create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer by taking on our Walk 100 Miles in September challenge.

Story

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. In March this year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After undergoing surgery, I am grateful to share that I am now in full recovery mode. What makes this journey even more important to me is that I had no symptoms; the diagnosis came from a random blood test showing my PSA levels were above average for my age. Early diagnosis truly saves lives, so I urge everyone to arrange regular PSA blood tests through your doctor.

Prostate cancer is more common than many realize — did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime? This statistic highlights the urgent need for awareness and research. That’s why I am taking on the "Walk 100 Miles in September" challenge starting on 1 September 2026, to support Prostate Cancer Research (PCR). This walk is not just a personal challenge but a mission to make a difference for men and families affected by this disease.

I kindly ask for your support during this challenge by donating what you can towards Prostate Cancer Research. Every contribution helps advance vital research and brings us closer to a world free from the impact of prostate cancer. My fundraising target is £500 — together, we can reach this goal and create hope for countless lives.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and encouragement as we walk towards a brighter future.
