Story

Thanks for supporting my fundraising.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Michelle losing her mum to non-Hodgkins lymphoma. It was a horrible period for Michelle and her family and Christine is still much missed, but the help that MacMillan gave, at such a painful time, has never been forgotten.

When Michelle challenged me to join her in a half marathon, i was initially reluctant - I've never been one for races and, though I do run a bit, I dont think of myself as a runner and I have no desire to run that kind of distance. However, it's really special to Michelle, and her breathing post COVID has restricted her being able do much running. So I felt I ought to step up and join her brother Mark in the Berkhampstead Half.

Please give what you can and help MacMillan provide for other families going through a tough time with cancer.

EDIT - Due to having COVID, I have had to change the event to The Great Birmingham Run on 1st May.
