Hey, I'm Alan from Alan Wright Photography, a family and newborn photographer based in Billingshurst West Sussex.

What are Porch Portraits?

Porch portrait shoots are fun, short, social distanced photo sessions. Perfect for capturing memorable and meaningful pictures of your family while you are all home together.

Why I’m capturing porch portraits?

Lockdown has been a strange time for us all and personally as has taken me some time to get to grips with the new normal. Don’t get me started on the joys of homeschooling 😂

I miss capturing family photos dearly and through my walks around Billingshurst formulated a plan to safely photography fun family portraits at your doorstep while raising money for a much loved local charity.

Who am I raising money for?

Chestnut Tree House does amazing work for children across Sussex. They care for life-limited children and young adults, while also supporting their families. I’ve visited their wonderful hospice a number of times and filmed fundraising promotions with their staff. They are primarily funded by public donations which in these current times, like many other charities, has taken a hit.

What areas am I covering?

Now that the lockdown restrictions have been reduced I’m covering more areas including Billingshurst, Horsham, Southwater, Lower Beeding, Pulborough etc.

What does my session include?

• 15-minute family portrait session at your front door or garden if there is access via a side gate.
• 5 edited and retouched images.
• A private digital gallery to view and download your new portraits.
• You’ll be able to order prints directly within your gallery.

How much is a session?

The cost is £45 in total. There a £20 booking deposit that covers travel time and fuel, then a suggested donation of £25 made via this page.
