Story
Once a year, I ask my family, friends and colleagues to donate to a charity that I have carefully chosen. In exchange, I do something painful for a few hours.... In 2016, you raised £4000 for Family Life, a charity supporting relationships in the UK. The year before, you raised £4100 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
This year, please would you give generously to CBM UK! This small charity is 21 years old this year and is local to Cambridge where I live. It does a huge amount for people with disabilities abroad. For instance, in 2016, the charity
- Enabled 79,913 children with disbailities to go to school
- Restored sight to 460,627 people through cataract surgery
