This September I will be running the Great North Run in aid of Money for Madagascar. 

Though Madagascar is famous for its wonderful landscapes and biodiversity, its people are some of the poorest in the world, with approximately 70% living in poverty. Population growth also puts immense pressure on the country's rainforest, resulting in more than half of it.
