Hackney Night Shelter's vision is for a route out of homelessness for everyone in need in Hackney. For 25 years they have not only provided emergency accommodation and shelter for those in need in our community, but also professional and holistic support to help their guests rebuild their lives and move towards a more sustainable lifestyle. They provide a safe place to sleep away from the harsh conditions of living on the street, giving people the time and space to rebuild their lives. Hackney Night Shelter don't receive any government funding, so rely on grants, donations and fundraising to fund their vital work. Events like the Hackney Half Marathon are a huge opportunity to raise money to continue providing this essential service for those experiencing homelessness in Hackney.
